Office of Artistic Exhibitions
Situated in the city centre, at the seat of Olsztyn astronomical observatory, it is the largest and most prestigious Modern Art Gallery in Olsztyn. Initially it was situated in Olsztyn castle and only in 1973 moved to a new place. A true gem of its collection is the sculpture of Stefan Knapp, displayed on an atrium wall.The Gallery organises All-Polish thematic and monographic exhibitions, promotional displays and artistic competitions. For many years it has also acted as a host to the Quadriennale of Polish Woodcut and Linocut(since 1975), which evolved into a renowned and prestigious Poland-wide graphic competition, and the Biennale of Olsztyn Plastic Art (since 1988), presenting artworks of Olsztyn artists. The Gallery stages about 25 exhibitions a year. Thanks to cooperation with State Art Gallery in Sopot, it displayed three times a famous collection of Polish painting of Lvov Art Gallery. It also mounted numerous monographic exhibitions of such outstanding artists as Jan Tarasin, Tadeusz Dominik, Józef Szajna, Stasys Eidrigevicius, Władysław Hasior, JerzyDuda-Gracz, Andrzej Dudziński, Henryk Musiałowicz, Jerzy Mierzejewski, Józef Łukomski, Kazimierz Mikulski, Józef Wilkoń, Roland Topor, Henryk Waniek, Andrzej Wróblewski or Wojciech Sadley.
Warmian-Mazurian Association for Promoting Fine Arts
It was established in 2005 as a part of National Culture Programme “Znaki Czasu”. It holds an interesting collection shown temporarily in the interiors of the Olsztyn castle.

“Spichlerz” stages artworks of professional artists and amateurs, associated in various artistic communities. Photographs, paintings and graphics exhibited at Spichlerz Gallery of Municipal Culture Centre are executed by true art lovers, representing a variety of non-artistic occupations. Displays shown at the gallery are often part of scenery for cultural events launched by Municipal Culture Centre.

ArtDeco is a private gallery established as a result of fascination with regionalism. It features mainly regional artworks, specific to the culture of the region of Warmia and Mazuria, set, however, in wider European context.

Gallery of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers
Located in the castle, the gallery was built in the years 1968–70, to the project of Bolesław Wolski, with great engagement of the then artistic community of Olsztyn. It is probably the only gallery in Poland built by artists, almost with their own hands. Its grand opening took place on 13 October 1970. It was meant an exhibition centre of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers, displaying painting, sculpture, graphics, artistic textile, medalic art and scenographic elements. The Gallery isalso an organizer of other significant cultural events.

Stary Ratusz Gallery
It is located in the hall of the Provincial Public Library and was meant to be another meeting place of artists and art lovers. Apart from staging about 20 exhibitions a year, displaying traditional artworks of painters, graphics, sculptors and photographers, it organises other artistic events such as multimedia presentations or concerts. It is a wonderful place to go and relax for a good cup of coffee, while visiting the Old Town.

The gallery boasts a vast collection of painting, graphic, sculpture, photography and modern media art. All year long it offers the citizens of Olsztyn the chance to follow prevailing trends of Polish plastic art, while in summer, especially for tourists, the gallery puts on display artworks of local artists.
